What affects the price

  • Group size — per-person cost falls as the group grows, since the vehicle and guide are shared.
  • Pick-up point — distance from your hotel affects drive time and therefore cost.
  • Season — the December to March peak and the July to August window are busier than the quieter months.
  • Add-ons — guided entry, meals or extra stops can be built in.

  • Begin your early morning adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Colombo.
  • Start the 4.5-hour journey to Sigiriya. (Travel time may vary depending on traffic conditions.)

9:30 AM – Breakfast at Gimanhala Restaurant, Dambulla

  • Arrive at Dambulla and enjoy a refreshing breakfast at the Gimanhala Restaurant.

  • In the afternoon, visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks.

  • Spend about 2 hours here, including the climb and exploration of the fortress.
