5:00 AM – Pickup from Colombo Hotel

Begin your early morning adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Colombo.
Start the 4.5-hour journey to Sigiriya. (Travel time may vary depending on traffic conditions.)

9:30 AM – Breakfast at Gimanhala Restaurant, Dambulla

Arrive at Dambulla and enjoy a refreshing breakfast at the Gimanhala Restaurant.
Enjoy a delicious local breakfast with Sri Lankan delicacies.
Spend around 45 minutes here.

10:15 AM – Visit the Dambulla Royal Cave Temple

After breakfast, head to the Dambulla Royal Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Explore the cave temples, which feature stunning ancient murals and statues of Buddha.
Spend approximately 1 hour here soaking in the rich history and spiritual ambiance.

11:15 AM – Experience the Local Life of Hiriwadunna Village

2:00 PM – Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress

In the afternoon, visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks.
Begin your climb to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. At the top, you’ll find the ancient ruins and breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle and gardens.
Spend about 2 hours here, including the climb and exploration of the fortress.
