What’s Included & How Pricing Works

Every Hopscotch itinerary is built to order, so there is no single fixed price for this trip. What you pay depends on when you travel, how many of you there are, and the standard of hotel you choose — which is why we quote each trip individually rather than advertise a headline rate that would not apply to most travellers.

Tell us your dates and we will come back with the best price we can offer for that period. Quotes are free, there is no obligation, and we will be upfront about what is and is not included.

What affects the price

  • Season — the December to March peak and the July to August window cost more than the quieter months. If your dates are flexible, we will tell you honestly when you will get better value.
  • Group size — per-person costs fall as the group grows, since vehicle and guide costs are shared.
  • Hotel category — from comfortable mid-range guesthouses through to luxury and boutique properties.
  • Private or shared — a private vehicle and chauffeur guide costs more than a shared departure, but gives you full control of the pace.
  • Add-ons — safaris, whale watching, cooking classes, spa treatments and internal flights can all be built in.

Typically included

  • Airport meet-and-greet on arrival, and departure transfer
  • Accommodation for the nights shown in the itinerary
  • Private air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking chauffeur guide
  • Fuel, parking, tolls and all driver expenses
  • Daily breakfast at your hotel
  • 24/7 local support throughout your trip

Usually not included

The exact inclusions for your trip are confirmed in writing with your quote, so there are no surprises later.
